Sharm el-Sheikh's international airport, which draws 20 MW

COP27 UN climate meeting 2022 in Sharm el-Sheikh

Around 115 heads of government and heads of state land at the so-called peace city Sharm el-Sheikh's international airport, which draws 20 MW and was built by settlers and the Israel Defense Forces in 1968. A huge airport with a hangar with 29 aircraft. That airport is protected by a tent made of 7 layers of silk that can withstand 220 degrees of heat and that
resembles a Nobel diploma, an artwork by a selected Swedish artist and a text part executed by a calligrapher and that has been placed in a leather cover. In the first three days of the climate summit alone, 47,731 passengers landed, including António Guterres, Joe Biden and Ursula von der Leyen.
During the ongoing COP27 UN climate meeting, people are dying in wars in different parts of the world from weapons manufactured and sold by the countries from which the majority of the participants come. Some are fleeing the war.
In the vicinity of the peaceful city of Sharm el-Sheikh and the lamented Peace Mosque, there is an old conflict that the participants have inherited due to the unsustainable politics. Sustainable development requires a sustainable policy where no conflicts and no environmental destruction are handed over to future generations.
